Angie & Heather:
It is with deepest sadness and sincere condolences on the passing of Dennis. I considered Dennis a good friend & remember with fondness my visit with you and Dennis a few years ago down at your camp site on beach in Petawawa. Dennis was a great serviceman, enjoyed life and was a pleasure to know. May you find comfort in the many years of memories you had together. He will be dearly missed by all of us.

Dennis, you weren't just a good friend you were the best of friends whom we could rely on for assistance, companionship, and friendship at a moments notice. Charlene and I will treasure the time we spent with you on the river, our trips away from Petawawa together, the times we spent over dinner at Christmas and other holidays, your little jokes, your great sense of humour, and your fantastic Irish coffees. My Irish side knows that you were in Heaven an hour before the devil knew you were gone. We will miss you and remember you forever.

My sincere condolences to you Angela and to his family. I've know Denis from the mid sixties to present and I will always remember that every time we met he would always make a comment of my real name "Norman" but everyone new me by Joe, but he would always call my name out loud so all could hear "hey Norm". It is an honour and a pleasure that Denis had ask that I would play the Lament at his funeral, and of course it will the Canadian Guards tune "No More Return". R.I.P. my friend. Cheers NORM

We were blessed to know Dennis and he was always ready to give his opinion to help with a issue and he usually was right. He had that special twinkle in his eyes and his warm personality made us want to be his friend.Always make sure you had your facts right when in a discussion with Dennis. He loved to read and was up on all current affairs - Loved the Military and served his country well.Rest in Peace and your Heather has the same twinkle.

I've known Denis for many years. I hunted with him and his small gang, many years ago already. Denis wasn't a man to brag. I noticed all the medals on his uniform, and I never asked, or he never mentioned anything about them. I guess Angie will have to enlighten us now. I'd visit them, and you were treated like royalty. I'm going to miss his emails all typed in bold letters. I hope God will take care of him. He was a very generous man, and will be missed by his family and friends.

Guy and Kelli

P.S. He made me listen to Lol Green in the truck when we were driving around, I didn't have the heart to say Denis please turn off the radio. :)
