Murray James King

Passed away at Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce, Owen Sound surrounded by his family on Monday, November 28, 2016 at the age of 78 years. He was born on November 02, 1938 in Chalk River, Ontario to the late Roy and Loretta (McParland) King. Loving father of Randy (Carol King) of Neustadt, Richard and Robert King both of Mildmay, Cheryl (Brad) Cline of Walkerton, Shawn (Cheryl) King of Hanover and James King of Toronto. Grandchildren: Cory, Holly, Amanda, Nicole, Heather, Dustin, Ashley, Whitney, and Sydney. Great grandpa to: Anthony, Chloe, James, Derek, Sasha, Leeloo & Sebastien. Special friend Carolyn Hammel of Wiarton. He will be remembered by his Brother Ken (Lise) King, Sisters: Doreen, (Joe) Laderoute, Sharon (Randy) Logan and Colleen (Martin) James and Brother-In-Law Norvel O’Connor. Predeceased by his wife Judith (nee Neuman) King, Brother Orlie (Lucy) King and Sister Marilyn O’Connor. A service will be held at the Valley Funeral Home at 1 p.m. on July 6th, 2017. Burial at the Deep River Community Cemetery (Family only). Please join us for lunch at the Deep River Legion to express condolences and share memories together with family and friends. In memoriam donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

I would like to express my deepest and heartfelt condolences to the family of Murray King. I am truly sorry for the lost that your family is feeling. Experiencing the lost of a beloved family member is one of the hardest thing that any of us can go thru. And because of that my thoughts and prayers are with your family. Take comfort in knowing that God never intent for us to deal with sickness or death. But have assure in this wonderful promise that God holds out to us. He promise each of us that very soon he is going to reunite us back with all those loved ones that we have lost. (John 5:28,29) Until that time, cherish all the wonderful memories that you have of Mr. Murray. These precious memories will console the family in the day's ahead.
