Will miss Ruth's lovely smiling, and very determined, face across the way during orchestra rehearsals amd concerts. I also will remember fondly our Saturday mornings in recent years of getting together to play trios at her house together with Arden where our playing was always preceeded by a coffee, homemade goodies and a great chat about a range of topics amd some good laughs.

My deepest sympathy to Ruth's wonderful caring children! I will deeply miss having Ruth in my life . Not only was she a wonderful customer over the last 30 years, but truly I was so fortunate to consider her a true friend! Every Tuesday I looked forward to her appointments. At this time it warms my heart to think that Will is there to receive Ruth so they are once again together !

Please accept our most sincere codoleances. I had the pleasure of meeting Ruth on a number of occasions and I was always impressed by her warmth, her elegance and her vitality in life. If I could conduct myself in some small measure as she did, I would be a better person in life.

I was so sad to hear of Ruth's death. She will always hold a very special place in my heart, and was a large part of the musical upbringing of the Bayly family children. I will remember forever weekly piano lessons with Ruth, with the cat twining around my legs as I tortured the keyboard (but loved the ear-training!). I think of her every time I make "Ruth McAlpin Cookies", a treasured oatmeal raisin cookie made from a recipe graciously shared by her. She was a gracious and elegant woman, cultured, friendly and fun, and I will miss her.
