Dear Coe Family: I worked at the police service with Dick beginning in 1978. I was working in the front office as a clerk and helped him occasionally with property namely recovered stolen bicycles. He valued my work and made me feel like I had purpose and was contributing to the necessary work that often goes unnoticed. He was a very kind man and a good listener. I enjoyed working with him. I’m sorry I cannot attend the service on Saturday but had to tell you he was one of the good ones that I worked with during my 37 years at the police service.
