Saddened to hear of John's passing. John joined our family for many Christmas, Thanksgiving and other holiday dinners after Loretta's passing. He was wonderful man and a true gentleman. R.I.P John.

John and my husband Peter shared a love of model railways. When our girls were young, John invited them to enjoy his Chalk River station model with various train timetable movements. He also tipped them off when special trains were due at Chalk River as he knew the engineers well - fun memories for our family.
In the past few years I enjoyed playing bridge against John and his partners many times. He was a keen player.
John was a lovely person to know and will be missed.

So sorry to hear about John's passing.

John was a fine gentleman. We shared the love for model trains.
Until 2 years ago John traveled quite regularly all the way to Ottawa to operate large scale trains on Saturday morning.

We will miss him.

Rest in Peace John

I'm sorry to hear of John's passing.
John IS a true and lasting friend. I will never forget the friendship; which he continuously shared with me, over the years.
Yes, as others have shared; John was always a true gentleman. We both shared a great interest in the great hobby of Railroading; the real railways, or our model railroads.
Thank you, John. May you rest in peace.
