To the Harper Family:
Please accept my deepest sympathy.
I knew your mom from AECL in the early '70's. She worked in the Commisary and I always went to buy my red licorice. Every time I saw she and Donnie in Pembroke, we would have a little chat. I just loved her.
Sincerely
Pat Kranz

Donnie you will miss Rose, what a beautiful friendship. Buying treats at the
service station where Rose was as a young kid, I remember Licorice being
2 for 5 cents (I kid you not) and always when you looked into the little brown bag
there were 3. Rose had such a good since of humor after starting work at AECL I
like many others cashed our cheques there and when I was going to buy my 1st
pack of cigarettes and she said 33 cents I said no way and she laughed and always
credited herself with me never smoking. Such a mild, sweet tempered person.
Donnie you will always remember her as such as will we all.

So sad and sorry to hear about your mom's passing, Kathy. She was such a sweet lady, always so happy and it was nice to chat with her when I was getting my hair done. She often washed it for me. She was the same age as my Mom, who will soon be turning 96. Condolences to your family, Kathy.
