I worked with Joanne for a few years in the 90’s. I was very fond of her determination and passion, a beautiful caring soul. She will be truly missed. My prayers go out to her family.

I will always remember your smile, and when we met during Hurricane Katrina. I’m a little late in hearing of your passing. Rest in peace my friend. You will be missed.

I'm so very sad to hear that Joanne has passed.  She was such a smart and witty person who always made the time she spent with people more fun.  My condolences to her family.  I will always remember her fondly, both as a colleague and as a friend.

To her family:  Every person who met Joanne who was immediately pulled into her fun and energetic vortex. I knew and worked with her for years in Labour Relations and my wife and I enjoyed her friendship outside of work including at the Buffalo Bill's games. She was the only one we knew that wore boots with stiletto heels to a football game. But as you know she could get way with it. And God she loved her footwear.  Nine West was her church. We will remember her fondly.
