Akio ‘Roy’ Yamazaki

Peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Roy Yamazaki of Deep River at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of Lucy ‘Sachiko’ Yamazaki (nee Shigematsu). Loving father of Ken and his wife Kirstie of Toronto and Jason and his wife Erin of Kanata. Cherished grandfather of Cameron, Clara, Adrian and Addison Yamazaki. Also survived by a sister Kay Douglas and her late husband Mike of Langley, B.C. Predeceased by a sister Chizuko Yamazaki. Respecting Roy’s request cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday August 29 from 2-4 pm at the Deep River Yacht and Tennis Club. In memoriam donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River.
