Anastasia "Stasia" Pennock

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anastasia Pennock (nee Schimmens) on Monday, March 30, 2026 at Miramichi Lodge in her 92nd year. Daughter of the late Esther and George Schimmens of Palmer Rapids, Ontario. Loving wife of the late William "Bill" Pennock. Predeceased by brothers Levi (late Grace) Junop, Calvin (late Margaret) Schimmens, Rodney Schimmens and Eldon (Rita) Schimmens.

Survived by daughters Dale Pennock of Deep River and Jennifer (Marino) Mattei and cherished grand daughter Sara (Amedeo) Diamanti and treasured great grandson Sebastian of Mono, Ontario.

She will be especially missed by best friend and sister-in-law Rita Schimmens, Pembroke and her many nieces and nephews.

Words cannot express our thanks to the staff of 1B at Miramichi Lodge. Your care for Mom and our family was immeasurable.

Friends may call at Valley Funeral Home in Deep River on Thursday, April 2 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral to be held at Real Hope Christian Assembly, 33019 Highway 17, Deep River on Saturday, April 4 at 11:00 am. Interment at Deep River Community Cemetery, 82 McAnulty Road, following service.
