Arlene "Cookie" Hope Paquette

At the Deep River and District Health on Thursday. March 27, 2025. Cookie Paquette (nee Dickerson) of Deep River at the age of 75 years. Beloved wife of Mike Paquette. Loving mother of Rebecca Paquette of Deep River and Melanie Paquette of Ottawa. Cherished grandmother of Asher and Isaac Proulx. Dear sister of Jane and Marcia Dickerson and Bill Dickerson and his wife Alma all of Deep River, Terry Dickerson and his late wife Charlene McGillis of Chalk River. Also survived by a sister-in-law Debby Dickerson of Edmonton. Predeceased by her parents the late Richard and Dawley Dickerson (nee Rabishaw) and a brother Richard Dickerson. Cherished aunt of Amanda Pickett (nee Dickerson), Richard Dickerson, Sandra Dickerson, Sean Stanley, Beth Stanley, Dawn Marrs, Kristen Marrs, Terri Hogue (nee Dickerson), Meagan Dickerson, Ashley Howat (nee Dickerson) as well as many grand nieces and nephews. Respecting Cookie’s wishes cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, June 23 at 11:00 am at the Chalk River and Area Lions Club, followed by a luncheon. In memory of Cookie, donations to the Deep River and District Health-Closer to Home Campaign would be gratefully appreciated. Cookie’s family would like to express their thankfulness and gratitude to the staff at Deep River & District Health for their outstanding care.
