At the North Renfrew Long Term Care Centre, Deep River on Friday November 5, 2021. Audrey Santon(nee Wirth) at the age of 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Johannes Santon (d.2000) Loving mother of Claus Santon and his wife Birgit and Ole Santon and his wife Irene both of Denmark and Steffan Santon and his wife Julia of England. Cherished grandmother of Christoffer (Nicole) and Christine (Vicenzo) and Michael (Jetta) and 7 great grandchildren, Maximillian, Leonardo,Alexander, Martin, Morton and Josephine and 2 great-great-grandchildren Charlize and Christian.

 Respecting Audrey's request cremation has taken place a memorial service will be held in the St. Barnabas Anglican Church Deep River on Saturday November 20th at 11:00am. Please be aware that the St. Barnabas Anglican Church now requires proof of vaccination. Interment of cremated remains will be in St. John's Anglican cemetery, Eganville at a later date.

Born and raised in Montreal Audrey completed a degree in English Literature at McGill. She met her future husband John in Montreal and came to Deep River in 1954. She and John married in 1955 and lived at the Petawawa Forest Experimental Station. Audrey worked at AECL in Reactor Physics retiring in 1979 to the wonderful farmhouse in Eganville she and John built. Following the death of her husband Audrey moved to Deep River and at the age of 75 designed and built a brand new house. In 2019 Audrey moved to the North Renfrew Long Term Care Centre. Audrey was an avid reader, gardener and lover of all living things especially her many dogs. She is greatly missed by her family and dear and close friends.

 We would like to thank everyone at the North Renfrew Long Term Care for the support and care of Audrey. The community there was a blessing especially during the challenges of Covid.
