At his residence, with his loving family on Tuesday, June 18, 2019. Barry McLaughlin at the age of 62 years. Dear son of Mary Primeau and her late husband, Walter McLaughlin and step-son of Cecil :”Doc” Primeau. Loving father of Leanne McLaughlin and Steven McLaughlin of Point Alexander. Cherished and loving grandfather of Heidi McLaughlin. Husband of Beverly Sterling, wife and mother of his children. Brother of Robert, Sharon (Barry), Steven (Louise) and Karen (Barclay). Cherished uncle of Terrilyn, Jason, Brandon, Erin and Blake, and many extended family out West. Special friend to Laurie and best buddy to his favourite neighbor Gary Douglas. Barry also shared a very special relationship with many of his co-workers. Leanne and Tim Leachman provided around the clock care for Barry in the final weeks to enable him to stay at home. Steve kept his lawn in tip-top condition just as Dad would want it. Special thanks to Terry McVey and Linsay and Julie for being there on Barry’s last day.Friends may call at the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River on Wednesday, June 26 from 10 to 10:45 a.m. A Private Celebration of Life to follow.
