At the Deep River and District hospital on Monday, June 12, 2023. Charlene McGillis (nee Lance) at the age of 66 years. Beloved wife of Terry Dickerson of Chalk River and by first marriage the late William (Bill) McGillis. Loving mother of Clint McGillis and his wife Julie and Courtney McGillis and her husband John Hosbons both of Chalk River, Ashley Porringa and her husband Andrew of Sudbury and the late Stephan McGillis. Loving grandmother of Mason and Leighton McGillis, Ava and Alivia Porringa and Tegan and Tate Pelletier. Dear sister of Rhonda Nastiuk and her husband Chris and Paula Fraser and her husband Lloyd both of Edmonton and Colleen Bonnett and her husband Doug of Chalk River. Respecting Charlene’s wishes cremation will take place. A Mass in the presence of ashes will be celebrated in St. Anthony Catholic Church, Chalk River on Friday, June 23 at 11:00 am. Interment of cremated remains will be in St. Anthony Parish Cemetery. A light luncheon to follow at the Lions Hall, Chalk River. In memory of Charlene donations to the Deep River and District Hospital Foundation or the Laurentian Hills Recreation Department would be greatly appreciated.
