At the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Monday August 31, 2020. Charlotte Barrand (nee: Chitwood) at the age of 72 years. Beloved wife of the late Roger Barrand. Daughter of the late Roscoe and Ella Chitwood (nee: Cloyes). Loving mother of Heather Lavigne and her husband Paul of Pembroke and Cindy Strandberg and her husband Neil of Nome, Alaska. Cherished grandmother of Brooklyn and Jaxon Lavigne. Dear sister of Linda Moore and predeceased by a brother Stephen Chitwood and a sister Barb Chitwood. Respecting Charlotte’s request cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in St. Anthony Catholic Church, Chalk River on Thursday September 10 at 11:00 a.m. Interment of cremated remains will be in St. Anthony Parish Cemetery, Chalk River. In memoriam donations to the Alzheimer Society, the Renfrew County SPCA or the Charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated.
