At his residence with family on June 5, 2022 in his 95th year. Beloved husband of Elaine (Jackson) and much loved father of Lana (Jeremy Durst). Adored Poppa to his grandchildren Sophie and Jackson Durst. Predeceased by son Tyler and by his brothers Jack, Mac and Roy and a sister Gayle (Utman). He is survived by his brother Don and his wife Joan, and sisters Betty (Saunders) and Orma (Barkley) and sister-in-law Jessie Findlay. Cremation has taken place with interment at a later date. Funeral service will be held in the Deep River Community Church on Monday, June 13 at 11:00 am followed by a reception at the C.E.C. adjacent to the church. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Deep River Community Church or Deep River and District Hospital Foundation. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River.
