Clifford Bruce Bigham

Clifford Bruce Bigham, Monday February 2, 2026 at the age of 97 years. Beloved husband of Jean Bigham, father to David (Halli Villegas; Grandfather to Misha), Ian (Gail Moran), Joanne. Alumnus of Queen's University Bruce went on to do his Masters and Phd at the University of Liverpool. He started his work career in 1954 at AECL where he worked in Accelerator Physics and was involved in design of the accelerating structure of the super conducting cyclotron retiring in the early '90s.  He was an avid glider pilot culminating with the founding of the Bonnechere Soaring Club. His passions included gardening and his wonderful fishpond. Bruce's quiet and kind nature connected him with many of all ages and he will be deeply missed. Family celebration of life to be held at a later date.
