Concetta Giardini (Nonna)

At the Deep River and District Hospital on Saturday, March 2, 2024. Concetta Giardini (nee Lacapruccia) at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Luigi Giardini. Loving mother of Rico and his wife Anne of Laurentian Hills, and the late Antonio (Margaret Giardini of Elliot Lake). Cherished nonna of Christina, Eric (Kiley), Michael (Emily), Mathew (Lina) and Jamie Lee (Tim) and 5 great-grandchildren Olivia, Lennan, Clara, Scarlett and James. Predeceased by 5 brothers and 1 sister. A private visitation and service will be conducted at a later date. In memory of Concetta, donations to the Deep River and District Hospital-Closer to Home Project would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River.

The family would like to extend our deepest appreciation for the care given to her by the nurses, doctors, and all the staff at the DRDH. Over the past few years, Concetta had support from many community programs: the NRLTC FLEX Program, Meals on Wheels, Community Paramedic Program, Marianhill Respite.  She especially loved her time spent with her last caregiver Lori.
