At her residence, Chalk River on Friday, February 2, 2024. Doreen Leach (nee Burd) at the age of 94 years. Beloved wife of the late William Ronald (Bill) Leach. Loving mother of Wendy Hawley and her husband Ron of Chalk River, Beverly Clouthier and her husband Chris of Petawawa and Richard Leach and his wife Trish of Chalk River. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Law (Pat), Marcia Martin (Derrick), Ryan Hawley (Marley Lapierre), Tania Martin (Jason), Kristin Leach (Shane Boyd), Cory Clouthier (Amber), Nathan Clouthier (Alex Danis), and 8 great-grandchildren Jordan, Cameron, Ethan, Hope, Keegan, Aidyn, Logan and Charlie. Pre-deceased by sisters May, Ethel, Ellen and Ruth.  Respecting Doreen’s wishes cremation will take place. A Memorial Service will be held in St. Andrew’s United Church on Saturday February 17th at 11am.  Interment of cremated remains will be in Forest View Cemetery, Chalk River in the spring. In memory of Doreen, donations to St. Andrew’s United Church, Chalk River would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River.
