At Chartwell Stillwater Creek Residence, Ottawa on Thursday December 3, 2020. Marie McDonald, formerly of Deep River at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Robert Bruce “Bob” McDonald. Loving mother of Lois Dagg (the late Kim Dagg) and her close friend Tom Hitchcock of Point Alexander, Linda McDonald (Hugh Gale) of Ottawa and Robert McDonald and his wife Kim of Haley Station. Cherished grandmother of Karrie McAuley, Kyla Tammaro, Katie Bertrand, Kevin and Jeffrey Fitzpatrick, Rob and Erin McDonald, and 6 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by 2 brothers Harvey and Don Heximer and a sister Jean Smith. Also survived by a sister-in-law Norma Heximer of Welland as well as many special nieces and nephews. A Private Funeral Service will be conducted in the chapel of Valley Funeral Home, Deep River on Sunday December 6, 2020. Interment will be in the Deep River Community Cemetery. In memoriam donations to the Deep River and District Hospital Foundation would be gratefully appreciated.
