At the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Monday, October 18, 2021 with his family by his side. Sonny Morin of Deep River at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband of the late Jean Morin (nee Jannison). Loving father of Cindy Giroux and her husband John Cauvier of Bonfield, Bonnie Morin and her husband Armand Sauve of Deep River, Jennifer Given and her husband Matt Stubinski of Haley Station and Billie-Jo Morin and her husband Terry Nicholson of Chalk River. Cherished grandfather of Jenny, Mandy, Amanda, Hayden, Matthew, Nathan and Kyle and great-grandchildren Sophia, Dylan, Starla, Marlee, Emmet, Ryder, Colt and Scarlett. Survived by his 4 sisters Leona (Mel), Priscilla (the late Larry), Marlene (Ronnie) and Sherry (Dennis) and 3 brothers Gordon (Doreen), Vincent and Tommy. Predeceased by 2 brothers Theador and Hector and 2 sisters Linda and Kathy. Friends may call at the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River on Tuesday, October 26 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Interment of cremated remains and committal prayers will take place at Our Lady of the Snows Parish Cemetery, Stonecliffe on Tuesday at 3:30 pm. In memoriam donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be gratefully appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River.
