Edward 'Ted' Austin Barks

With much sadness, we announce the passing of Ted Barks on Thursday October 03, 2024 at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Janice Barks (nee Pepin). Loving father of Steve Barks and his wife Kelly of Petawawa and Stacey Leblanc and her husband Chris of Carleton Place. Cherished grandfather of Eric Barks. Dear brother of Janice Greenway and her husband Bill of Twassen, BC and Tom Barks and his wife Carol of Belleville and predeceased by a brother John ‘Bob’ Barks. Also survived by a sister-in-law Gayle Barks of Deep River and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River on Thursday, October 10 from 2 to 4 pm. In memory of Ted, donations to the Deep River and District Health-Closer to Home Project would be greatly appreciated.
