At the Deep River and District Hospital on Sunday morning October 2nd Eileen Mary Victoria James (Lukus) at the age of 72 years. Cherished wife of 53 years to her dedicated and loving husband Murray James. Loving and proud mother of Terri-Lyn Lee (Nathan Lee) of Deep River and Craig James (Sarah-May Kilpatrick) of Huntsville. Extremely proud grandmother to her three grandchildren that truly were the apple of her eye. Connor Lee (Natalya Newman) of North Bay, Benjamin Lee (Tristan Mulvihill) of Ottawa and Georgia James of Huntsville. They were the light of her life and she loved when her house was filled with their laughter and mischief.  Dear sister to Pauline Craggs (the late Dennis) of Pembroke, Edmund (Ed) Lukus and his wife Betty (the late June) of Pembroke, Dianne Gratto and her husband Parker, Darlene Raditsas and her husband Johne both of Kingston, sister-in-law of Joyce Vivian (the late Benjamin Lukus) of Kingston. Predeceased by parents Victoria and Joseph Lukus, father-in-law Gilbert James and mother-in-law Mary James, sisters Nancy Laroche and her husband Rene, Edith Ouellette and her husband Aurel, brother Gib Lukus and his wife Donna and by brothers-in law Ronald Gauthier and Jimmy Plourde, nephew Dennis Laroche and niece Shelley Plourde.  Sister-in-law to Malcolm James and his wife Claire both of Deep River and Colleen James (the late Martin James). Also survived by numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Respecting Eileen’s request cremation has taken place. A Mass in the presence of ashes will be celebrated on October 11th at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Deep River. In memoriam donations to the Deep River and District Hospital would be gratefully appreciated for the superior care and quality of end of life they provided.
