Elaine Ruby Maves

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Elaine Maves of Deep River who passed away at Miramichi Lodge on May 26th in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Daniel Maves, loving mother to Evangeline Coburn (Allan) Pembroke, Mark Maves (Rose) Oshawa. Dear Grandmother to Meagan Pelletier, Gatineau, Melanie Marino (Tony) Calgary, Benjamin Coburn, Calgary and Jonathan Maves (Elesia) Lethbridge. Great Grandma to Colette, Hunter and Moriah. Daughter of the late Bradley and Frieda Shields, sister of Elwood Shields (Sonja) Lively, Donalda Tubman (late Cliff) Carleton Place, Armelda Maves (late Art) Pembroke, Catherine Shields, Lake Dore, Colleen Edwards (Larry) Pembroke, Boyd Shields, Pembroke, Mervin Shields, Pembroke and the late Elvira Masson, Renfrew and Barry Shields (Greta) Renfrew. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Many thanks to the staff at Miramichi Lodge for their kind care. Friends may call at the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River on Sunday, June 1st from 6-8 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Real Hope Christian Assembly, Deep River on Monday, June 2 at 11:00 am. In memory of Elaine, donations may be made to the Charity of your choice.
