With much sadness, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Anne Moffatt on September 6, 2024, at the age of 89, at the Deep River District Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Howard Moffatt. She is lovingly remembered by her four children Janet Lardner (Rychard), Marjorie Craig (Peter deceased), David Moffatt (Amelia), and John Moffatt, and by her nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She was a cherished sister to Caroline (Kie) McQuarrie (deceased) (Bill deceased), Shirley Miller (Orval deceased), Marjorie McGinn, Mary Lynn Brydges (Jack) and John McGinn (Dorothy). Anne had many fond memories of all her adventures with her siblings. Whether it was the many day trips together around the Ottawa Valley or the bigger excursions to places like Toronto, Williamsburg, New York City, and France, she cherished the time they spent together.
A tea party to celebrate Anne’s life will be held at the St. Barnabas Anglican Church in Deep River, on Saturday, September 21, from 2-4 p.m. All friends welcome.
