Francis 'Frank' James Butcher

At Chalk River on Monday, February 10, 2025. Frank Butcher at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of Doreen Butcher (nee Yaraskavitch). Loving father of Steve Butcher and his wife Christine of Grimsby and Erin Harper and her husband Eric of Ottawa. Cherished grandfather of Trina, Travis and Sylvia Butcher and Reid and Tessa Harper. Son of the late Jim and Vera Butcher and the late Muriel by second marriage.  Dear brother of Doug Butcher (Sandra) and Bill Butcher (Wendy). Also survived by 4 brothers-in-law Don Yaraskavitch (Anne-Marie), Arne Yaraskavitch (Anne), Kevin Yaraskavitch (Rhonda) and Michael Yaraskavitch (Connie). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Respecting Frank’s wishes cremation will take place. A Mass in the Presence of Ashes will be celebrated at a later date. In memory of Frank, donations to the Deep River and District Health-Closer to Home Campaign would be gratefully appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River.
