Suddenly, at his residence on Friday, December 15, 2023. Gerry Ryan age 81 years. Beloved husband of Gay Baribeau (nee Briscoe) and the late Diane Ryan (nee Stowe) by first marriage. Loving father of Tim (Hayley) Ryan of Deep River and Coleen Hobbs (Frank Yurkowski) of Innisfail, Alberta. Cherished grandfather of Jerim Ryan (Terra Barrett), Julia Ryan, Christine Hobbs and Gerry Hobbs (Heather Hamill) and great-grandchildren Dominyk, Adalynn, Atticus, Bentley and Hudson. Dear brother of Patricia (Wayne) Kranz of Pembroke. Predeceased by brothers Edward ‘Ted’ and James ‘Jim’ Ryan. Also survived by a sister-in-law Jean Ryan of Belleville. Respecting Gerry’s wishes, cremation will take place. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of Valley Funeral Home, Deep River at a later date. Inurnment of cremated remains will be in St. Anthony Parish Cemetery, Chalk River. In memory of Gerry, donations to the Deep River and District Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
