At the Deep River and District Hospital on Tuesday September 29, 2020. Gilbert (Gib) Joseph Nazaire Lukus at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of the late Donna Lukus (nee Juby). Loving father of Vicky Turnbull and Derek Lukus both of Deep River. Loving grandpa to Racheal and Devin. Special buddy to Gonzo his fur baby. Dear brother of Pauline Craggs (the late Dennis) of Coboconk, Edmund (Ed) Lukus and his wife Betty (the late June) of Pembroke, Eileen James and her husband Murray of Deep River, Dianne Gratto and her husband Parker, Darlene Raditsas and her husband Johne (the Greek) both of Kingston, brother-in-law of Joyce Vivian (the late Benjamin Lukus) (Ben) (Bambi) of Kingston. Predeceased by parents Victoria and Joseph Lukus, sisters Nancy Laroche and her husband Rene, Edith Ouellette and her husband Aurel (Frenchie) and by brothers-in law Ronald Gauthier and Jimmy Plourde, nephew Dennis Laroche and niece Shelley Plourde. Also survived by numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Respecting Gib’s request cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River on Friday October 16 from 2-4 p.m. A Mass of Intentions will be celebrated on Sunday October 18 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Deep River.
