At the Deep River and District Hospital on Saturday, July 29, 2023. Helen McCarthy (nee McDonald) at the age of 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Allan McCarthy. Loving mother of Brian McCarthy and his wife Brenda of Sherwood Park, Alberta and the late Stuart (Sam) McCarthy (Lee Ann). Cherished grandmother of Scott McCarthy and his wife Breanne, Kim Humphreys and her husband Kevin and Jackie McCarthy and 4 great-grandchildren Jack and Casey McCarthy and Hailey and Penelope Humphreys. Friends may call at the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River on Friday, August 4 from 10 to 10:50 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11:00 a.m., followed by a light luncheon at the Christian Education Centre. A private interment of cremated remains will be held at a later date. In memory of Helen, donations to the Deep River and District Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
