Helen 'Boots' Anne Clouthier

At the Deep River and District Health on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, we were saddened by the passing of Boots Clouthier (nee McKay) of Chalk River at the age of 95 years.  Boots was an avid and fierce euchre player for many many years and had a love for gardening and reading and always had more than one book on the go. Beloved wife of the late Donald Clouthier. Loving mother of Donald Clouthier and his wife Candace of Chilliwack, BC and the late Cathy McLeod. Also survived by a son-in-law Keith McLeod and his wife Tarja of Hanmer. Cherished grandmother of the late Shane McLeod, Tracy McLeod and Tanner and Braden Clouthier and 2 great-grandchildren Zachary and Alysha Labelle, and a great-great grandson Levi Labelle.  Respecting Boot’s wishes cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In memory of Boots, donations to the Deep River and District Health-closer to home campaign would be gratefully appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River.
