At the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. James Shier of Chalk River at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of the late Virginia (Jean) Shier (nee Turner). Loving father of Laura Klodt and her husband Brent of Metcalf, Dale Shier of Chalk River, Edward Shier and his wife Pauline of Ottawa, Marcel Shier and his wife Mary of Totenham and the late Henry Shier. Cherished grandfather of James, Valerie and Jason Klodt, and Amanda (Brad), Kaila and Andrew Shier and 3 great-grandchildren Riely, Scarlett and Henry. Loving brother of Betty Busey of London and predeceased by 2 sisters Lois Mortimer and Margaret Smith. Respecting James’s request cremation will take place. A Family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In memoriam donations to the Charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated.
