At the Deep River and District Hospital on Wednesday, September 18, 2019. John Moore of Deep River at the age of 92 years. Beloved husband of the late Loretto Mary Moore (nee O’Shaughnessy). Loving father of the late David Moore. Predeceased by his sister the late Mary Whitaker. Respecting John’s request there will be no visitation. A graveside interment service will be conducted at the Deep River Community Cemetery on Monday, September 23 at 11:00 a.m. Friends, neighbours and former colleagues of long-time Deep River resident, John Moore, are invited to a celebration of his life on Thursday, October 10 2019 at 12 noon at the Deep River Gold Club where a light lunch will be served. Following tributes to John, those who wish can remain to play bridge or cards (which would have pleased him enormously). In memoriam donations to the Deep River and District Community Foundation would be gratefully appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River.
