Peacefully at North Renfrew Long Term Care with his family on Monday October 7, 2019 at age 86. Much loved husband of 64 years of Betty. Devoted Father to Chrisy of Toronto and Randy (Connie) & Tracey of Deep River. Extremely proud Grandpa of Joshua N. Anderchek of Toronto. Predeceased by his brothers Adolph, Ambrose, Louis, Benny, Denis, Gerald, Jack, Bobby, Mickey and Jimmy. Survived by Jerome (Dragi) of Combermere, Frank of Round Lake and Lorney of Arnprior.
Chuck had a happy and successful career as a tool and die maker at AECL for over 40 years and was a well-respected member of the research team. He was very community minded having coached minor hockey, refereed t-ball, assisted with junior bowling and offered all kinds of assistance to Betty with Girl Guides and at the Whistle Stop. He and Betty loved to travel both for pleasure and to modern square dance, which he was surprisingly good at.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Deep River Hospital or North Renfrew Long Term Care would be gratefully appreciated. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday October 12 at 11 am at Our Lady of Good counsel Catholic Church, Deep River. Interment will be in the Deep River Community Cemetery.
