At the North Renfrew Long Term Care Centre, Deep River on Monday October 28, 2019. Kathryn Yatabe (nee: Shinobu) at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Eiji (John) Yatabe.  Loving mother of Susan Yatabe of Deep River (husband Stuart Craig) and William Yatabe of Ottawa. Cherished grandmother of Ewan Craig. Dear sister of Dr. Roy Shinobu and his late wife Maki of Don Mills and predeceased by a brother Walter Shinobu and his late wife Nancy of Kirkland, Washington. Friends may call at the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River on Friday November 8 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be conducted in the Deep River Community Church on Saturday November 9 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Deep River Community Cemetery. In memoriam donations to the North Renfrew Long Term Care Centre (Deep River), Royal Canadian Legion Branch #436 (Deep River), or the Deep River Community Church.
