At the Ottawa General Hospital on Wednesday February 19, 2020. Léandre Lallier at the age of 79 years. Cherished companion of Sue Viau of Ottawa. Loving father of Debbie Lallier of Pembroke, Ti-Jean Lallier of Rapides des Joachims and Danielle Mackenzie (Colin) of Kanata. Predeceased by a daughter Johann Lallier and a son Vincent Lallier. Cherished grandfather of Kandis Meilleur (Doug Barr) of Pembroke, Scott Meilleur and his wife Alana of Deep River, Lee Turcotte and his wife Mai of Gatineau, Collin and Chance Turcotte both of Pembroke, Julia Thompson (Matt Locke) of Toronto, and Connor and Aidan Mackenzie both of Kanata, and 7 great-grandchildren Taylor Bertrand, Logan Kirkpatrick, Macy Meilleur, Kyle Meighen, Paige and Delaney Barr and Mathias Turcotte. Dear brother of Alain Lallier (Joann DuManoir), Rose Lallier (the late Maurice), Monique Breton (the late Guy), Leonie Lequin and her husband Jean, Raymonde Lussier and her husband Jacques. Predeceased by 2 brothers Claude (Francoise Lallier) and Ronald Lallier (the late Collette) and 4 sisters Lillian Chouinard (the late Albert), Aline Brissette (the late Maurice), Réjean Villeneuve (the late Roland) and Hélène Binette (the late George). Friends may call at the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River on Monday March 9 from 10:00 until 10:50 a.m. A Memorial Service will be conducted in the Chapel on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment of cremated remains will be in St. Anne’s Parish Cemetery, Rapides des Joachims, Quebec (at a later date).
