At Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke on Saturday, June 10, 2023. Leah Genesove (nee Chartrand) at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Bernie (Bunny) Genesove. Predeceased by her parents Tom and Elmira Chartrand. Dear sister of Winston Chartrand and his wife Linda of Mackey, Malcolm Chartrand and his wife Sandra of Whitby and Geraldine Vickery and her husband Fred of Stonecliffe. Predeceased by a brother Tom Chartrand (Chatter) and 5 sisters Theresa Brorulski, Christine Hickson, Doris Phinney, June Campbell and Mary Barker. Friends may call at the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River on Monday June 19 from 9:00 to 10:45 am. A Mass in the presence of ashes will be celebrated in Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Deep River on Monday at 11:00 am. Interment of cremated remains will be in Our Lady of the Snows Parish Cemetery, Stonecliffe. In memory of Leah donations to the Dementia Society would be greatly appreciated.
