Lionel Henri Mallette

At the Queensway Carleton Hospital, Ottawa on Thursday, February 12, 2026. Lionel Mallette of Deep River passed away at the age of 86 years. Beloved friend and companion of the late Margaret McKechnie. Step-father of Betty Ann Davis and her husband Sid of Deep River, Clayton McKechnie and his wife Heather of Renfrew and the late Donna Delahunt and her husband Gordon of Renfrew and step-grandfather of Jason, Carmen and Ian McKechnie, and Ricky and Laurie Delahunt. Respecting Lionel’s wishes cremation will take place. A private family interment service will be held at a later date. In memory of Lionel, donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be gratefully appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River.
