Peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 1st, 2026 with loved ones by her side at the Deep River and District Hospital. Lorna Thayer of Deep River at the age of 74 years. Beloved wife of Bob Thayer. Dear mother of Denise and her husband Tyler Augustus of Cambridge, Natalie and her husband Greg Aultman of Maitland. Dear grandmother of Kullin Meilleur and Melissa and her husband Lloyd Robinson all of Cambridge.  Dear grandmother of Reid and Emery Aultman of Maitland, and great grandmother to Ava Robinson of Cambridge.  Survived by 2 sisters, Darlene Meilleur of Renfrew, Dena Meilleur and her husband Rejan Lauzon of Rapides des Joachims and 4 Brothers Russel, Paul, and Dean all of Rapides des Joachims and Hector Meilleur of Neepawa Manitoba. Predeceased by sister-in-law Brenda Meilleur of Rapides des Joachims and grand daughter Jeniffer Augustus of Cambridge
