At the Deep River and District Hospital on Friday, March 8, 2024. Louise Luyt (nee McPherson). Beloved wife of Jacobus ‘Jack’ Luyt of Deep River. Loving mother of Andrew Luyt of Vancouver, Erica Luyt of Deep River and the late Malcolm Luyt. Also survived by daughter-in-law Aileen Mellors-Luyt of Vancouver. Cherished grandmother of Hendrik Luyt. Dear sister of Isobel Saunders and her husband Glen of Alexandria. Respecting Louise’s wishes, cremation will take place. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. In memory of Louise, donations to the Down Syndrome Resource Foundation of British Columbia or the Pembroke Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals would be greatly appreciated.
