Lucille Diane Watson (nee Roy)
Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded with love. Beloved and devoted wife for 68 years to her late husband Robert (Bob) Douglas Watson (2018). Loving mother to Roy of Deep River and the late Douglas Watson (2012). Cherished grandmother to Scott, Amanda, (Osama Khudair) and Adam. Great grandmother to Ella and Layla. Survived by her sister, Dr. Yolande Cyr (late Jean Cyr) of Gatineau QC, niece Gisele and nephew Daniel. Lucille will be remembered by her many friends for her generosity, kindness, thoughtfulness and willingness to help others. She was a determined and self-reliant woman, true to herself and to others. Lucille loved the outdoors, especially at her home on the Ottawa River. She walked and skied the many trails, and was an avid golfer and bridge player. Lucille loved to entertain and visit with her friends and particularly enjoyed her pickerel dinners from a special fisherman. As a travel agent for many years, she was a world traveller and shared that interest and knowledge with others. Her only regret was not getting to Ireland. Special thanks to Dr. Peter Ceponis, Dr. Terry McVey, Dr. Michael Sage, and Guy Frappier & Bryon Roblin for their continued support over the past few years. Respecting Lucille’s request, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Valley Funeral Home, Deep River. In memoriam donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
