December 19, 1918 ~ June 29, 2019 (age 100) 100 Years Old
Margret Bradley (nee Lyons) - Peacefully on June 29, 2019 in her 101st year. Predeceased by husband John, daughter Susan, and sisters Alice Cashen and Ann Archambault. Loving mother of Bill (Iris), James (Diane) and Ian (Chris). Loving and cherished grandma to Alison (Aaron Lamb), Bill, Cassie and Alex Bradley and Joy (Steve Ardanaz). Great grandmother to Quincy, Brennan, Juliana and Sofia Ardanaz. Much loved aunt to Jane and Peter Cashen, Deborah Greenway (Don), Peter Budreo (Katherine), Jane Rider (Peter), Dorothy Peers (Michael), Richard Bradley (Mary), Harold Bradley (Pat), the late Dorothy von Cramon (Harald), Betty Goodson (Bob), Bob Short (Sally), the late Douglas Campbell (Gwen), and Priscilla Randolph. Great Aunt to Jessie Cashen, Michelle Greenway, Geoff and Emma Budreo; Katie and Edward Rider; Valerie, Richard and Geoffrey Peers; Sarah, Jennifer, Jonathan and Andrea Bradley; Stephan and Andreas von Cramon; Michael Goodson; Andrea Murray and Thom Short; Alison and Ian Campbell; and great-great aunt to many others.
Born in Croydon, England on Dec. 19, 1918, Margret soon moved to Ottawa ON where she grew up in Lindenlea, attended the Ottawa Model School and Glebe Collegiate Institute, frequented the New Edinburgh Canoe Club, attended and was married in St. Bartholomew’s Church, and raised her family in New Edinburgh and Alta Vista’s Riverview Park. She moved to Deep River, ON in 1957 where she enjoyed over 50 years with husband John, family and many friends.
Family and friends may visit at the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River, ON on Wednesday July 3rd from 7PM to 9PM and Thursday July 4th 11AM to 12:30PM. Service at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Deep River on July 4th at 1:00PM followed by interment at Deep River Cemetery
