At Marianhill Nursing Home, Pembroke on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. Marie Schankula (nee Spence) of Deep River at the age of 75 years. Beloved wife of Jacob (Jack) Schankula. Loving mother of Darren and his wife Shelly of Callander and Jacob and his wife Tina of Osgoode. Cherished grandmother of Katie, Tim, Sarah and Samantha. Loving sister of Wayne Spence and his wife Karen of Blind River and Laurel-Ann Deguzman and her husband Carlito of Deep River. Predeceased by a brother Frayne Spence. Friends may call at the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River on Monday, December 4 from 1 to 2:50 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 3:00 pm. Followed by cremation. Interment of cremated remains will be in the Deep River Community Cemetery at a later date. In memoriam of Marie, donations to the Renfrew County Dementia Society, the Deep River Community Church or the Charity of choice would be greatly appreciated
