At the Four Seasons Lodge on Saturday, September 25, 2021. Mary Ahokas (nee Jones) at the age of 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Aksel Ahokas. Loving mother of Andrew Ahokas and his wife Dorothy of Point Alexander, Victor Ahokas and his wife Julie of Ingleside, the late Teresa Sayer, Anne Ahokas of Ottawa, Mary Ahokas of Kemptville, Margaret McConnell and her husband Gregory of Deep River and Joan Western and her husband Timothy of Ottawa. Cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by 2 brothers James and Denis Jones and 2 sisters Mae Allen and Joan Parent. Respecting Mary’s request cremation has taken place. A private family Interment Service will take place at the Deep River Community Cemetery (at a later date). In memoriam donations to the Four Seasons Lodge, Deep River or the North Renfrew Long Term Care Centre, Deep River would be gratefully appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River.
