Minnie Selina Slaughter

At the Deep River and District Health on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. Minnie Slaughter (nee Kippen) at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of Arthur Slaughter of Chalk River. Loving mother of Arthur W. and his wife Kerry of Ottawa, Terry and his wife Celia of Brantford and Kenneth and his wife Sherri of Bonney Lake, Washington USA. Cherished grandmother of Karla, Rose, Elaine, Sarah, Arthur, Eric, Claire, Vicki and Alex and great-grandmother of Evelyn, Alan, Louis, Charlie, Ashleigh and Grace. Also survived by her sister Elizabeth Ranson of Harrington Harbour, Quebec. Predeceased by 2 sisters and 4 brothers. Respecting Minnie's wishes cremation will take place. A Memorial Service will be held in All Saints Anglican Church, 1173 Victoria Street, Petawawa at a later date. Interment of cremated remains will be in the church cemetery. In memory of Minnie, donations to All Saints Anglican Church, Petawawa would be gratefully appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River.
