It is with great sadness, of the passing of Nancy Arkles (nee Dufoe) at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Tuesday, May 25, 2022, in her 79th year. Beloved wife of the late James Arkles Sr. and mother of the late James Arkles Jr. Loving mother of Janice Beyore (Joe Pascoe) of Cobourg.  Also survived by her daughter in-law Kathy Arkles. Cherished grandmother of Bradley Arkles and Jessica Arkles (Steve Cherrin). Dear sister of the late Joe Dufoe and Marian Vanderhorn, and survived by Arlene Hill of Pembroke, Brenda Silverthorn and her husband Richard of Consecon, Ethel Elliott of Chilliwack, B.C. and Ephraim Dufoe and his wife Cheryl of Wahnapitae. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Valley Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 31 from 6-8 p.m. Mass in the presence of ashes will be celebrated in St. Anthony Catholic Church, Chalk River on Wednesday, June 1 at 11:00 a.m. followed by the Interment of cremated remains at St. Anthony Parish Cemetery.
