At Four Seasons Lodge, Deep River on Sunday August 9, 2020. Ossie Gadd formerly of Chalk River at the age of 84 years. Beloved husband of Phoebe Buddo ‘Brooks’ and by first marriage to the late Muriel Gadd (nee: McNeil). Loving father of Oswald Gadd (Ozzie Jr.) and his wife Bonnie. Loving grandfather of Ashley Burton. Cherished great-grandfather of Holden. Dear step-father of Judy Trudell and her husband John of Stittsville, Roy Brooks and his wife Diana of Pembroke and Peggy Freemark and her husband Mike of Stittsville, and step-grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Isobel Burns and her husband Bill of Beamsville and Mabel Pavlish and her husband Frank of Amhurstburg. Also survived by nieces and nephews from Ontario, Cape Breton and New Brunswick. Predeceased by 2 brothers Llewellyan (Skip) and Alfred Gadd and 2 sisters Beatrice MacDonald and Minnie Holme. Also survived by 2 sisters-in law Margaret Gadd of Angus and Karen Gadd of Oromocto. Respecting Ossie’s request cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be conducted in the chapel of Valley Funeral Home, Deep River on Saturday August 15 at 11:00 a.m. Interment of cremated remains will be in Forest View Cemetery, Chalk River. In memoriam donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated.
