Penny Heather Laporte

Penny Heather Laporte born on May 14th 1956 passed away at 69 years of age on May 7th 2026 at the Pembroke Regional Hospital. She succumbed due to complications from her long battle with MS surrounded by her loving family. She spent most of her life in the cities of Petawawa and Pembroke. 

Her primary ambition in life was to be a mother and grandmother. She worked in the medical and service fields getting her nursing diploma before becoming a mother. After returning to work she helped run a few entrepreneurial endeavours, worked in food service, went back to school and eventually finished her career as a PSW.

She was a fierce woman who was honest and would do anything for her friends and family.

She is survived by her sons, Vincent (Jennifer) Laporte, children Brock, Jayce and Breelyn, Kai (Sima-ah Dino) Laporte, children Zuri, Lincoln, and Lennox, Troy Laporte, children Journey and  Memphis and her sisters Colleen (Al) Friendship, Debbie (Steve) Ledig and Kelly (Michael) Korim. Penny was predeceased by her parents and her brother.
