At his residence with his family on Thursday, October 5, 2023. Richard Cayer age 62 years. Beloved husband of Shirley Cayer (nee Decaire). Loving father of Deanna Cayer and Leah Collins and her husband Steve both of Ottawa, Lyne Brown and her husband Chris of Gatineau and Cindy Baig and her husband Bilal of Dubai. Cherished grandfather of Dakota, Destiny, Dylan, Micayla, Connor, Inaya, Sarina and Zach. Dear brother of Carole Pattingale and her husband Lindsay of Belleville and Susan Kasaboski and her husband Wayne of Deep River. Predeceased by a sister Nicole Kamps. Respecting Richard’s wishes cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In memory of Richard donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River.
