Sheila Mona Gust-Russell

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sheila Gust-Russell on October 10th, 2024 at the age of 69 with her family by her side at home after a brief illness.

Cherished Wife of Frank Russell, Loving Mother of Curtis (Sharon) and Stacey (Sheldon Thoms), Doting Grandmother of Phoebe, and beloved Sister of Barbara Morin (John), Earl Gust, Brian Gust and Margaret Gust (Ralph Granz).

Predeceased by her Parents Geneva (Hammel) and Wilfred Gust.

Sheila will be missed and fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, her step-grandchildren, her friends and her Church community.

Sheila was an avid crafter and a collector of salt shakers and glass oil lamps. She enjoyed spending time gardening, relaxing at the trailer in Killaloe and most of all spending time with her loved ones.

Sheila was a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She was often described as the kindest woman and that she was always there to help with a smile. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Friends may call at the Valley Funeral Home Deep River on Wednesday October 16th from 2-4 and 6-8pm.

A Celebration of Life will be held in St. John's Lutheran Church on Black Bay Road in Petawawa on Thursday October 17th at 11am. Internment at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Chalk River.
