At Four Season’s Lodge, Deep River on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. Shirley Roberts (nee Ranger). Beloved wife of the late Donald Roberts. Daughter of the late Flora (nee Paquette) and Loyola Ranger. Loving mother of Michael and his wife Terri Fox of Vernon, BC, Donnie and his wife Gale Smeltz of Eden, Brenda McCutcheon and her husband Glenn of Petawawa, Gail Adams of Deep River, Paddy and his partner Debbie Burns of Point Alexander and Kim Belonoha and her husband Bill of Deep River. Cherished grandmother of 11 grandchildren Shane Roberts, Melissa Burke, Ryan Roberts, Nicole Cluchey, Natalie Ostrom, Sean Ring, Nathan McCutcheon, Kayla Franklin, Bradley Adams, Mariah Vandenbaar and Brittani McGraw and 20 great-grandchildren Mercedes, Dylan, Jared, Kaylee and Carson Roberts, Liam Burke, Brayden Franklin, Jaxon Cluchey, Reed, River and Raine Ostrom, Max and Madison Ring, Hazelie and Beau McCutcheon, Cody and Piper Franklin, Easton Vandenbaar, and Oakley and Sawyer Roberts and 1 great great-grandchild Charlotte Milks. Dear sister of Mervin Ranger and his late wife Marj of Beachburg, Wesley Ranger and his wife Deanne of Alymer, Quebec, Leona Mousseau and her husband Clem of Pembroke and Geraldine Woermke and her late husband Bob of Petawawa. Respecting Shirley’s wishes cremation will take place. Friends may call at the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River on Tuesday, July 2 from 11:00 am to 12:50 pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in St. Anthony Parish Cemetery, Chalk River. In memory of Shirley, donations to the Deep River and District Health (closer to home project) would be greatly appreciated. Shirley’s family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation for the care given to their mom from the staff of the Deep River and District Health and the Four Seasons Lodge, Deep River.
