Stasia Mary Coulas

Stasia Coulas (nee Burchat) of Deep River passed away peacefully at Bruyere Health St. Vincent in Ottawa on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the  age of 96 years.  Beloved wife of the late Melvin Coulas. Loving mother of Connie Robinson and her husband Craig ( Deep River) and Elaine Ebach and her husband Paul  ( Toronto) and Julia Moore and her husband Neil Burton (Deep River) . Cherished grandmother of David and Andrew Robinson, Robert and Melanie Ebach, and Jenna and Laura Moore. Also survived by her sister Theresa Gerth of Kitchener. Predeceased by her 4 brothers Aponary, Felix, Dominic and Bronis Burchat and her sister Eleanor Drystek. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the nurses, doctors and health professionals at Bruyere Health St. Vincent Hospital for their care and compassion.

Friends may call at the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River on Wednesday, April 30 from 6-8 pm.  and from 9:30 to 10:30 on Thursday May 1 Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Deep River on Thursday, May 1 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the Deep River Community Cemetery. In memory of Stasia, donations to Bruyere Health St Vincent Hospital in Ottawa or to the Deep River and District Health-Closer to Home Campaign would be gratefully appreciated.
